Ipswich Anglican Community
Our story
On 1 January 2025 the two Anglican parishes of Ipswich and Ipswich North combined to create a new ministry unit in the heart of Ipswich.

For various regulatory and financial continuity reasons, our legal identity remains "Anglican Parish of Ipswich." However, in our ministry as Jesus people in the city of Ipswich we shall be known as the Ipswich Anglican Community.

We are an intentionally inclusive, open and affirming community where everyone is welcome no matter their personal circumstances or their current faith journey.

As Anglican followers of Jesus we are committed to the five marks of mission embraced by the worldwide Anglican Communion, which can be sumarised in 5 key terms:

-
Evangelism
-
Discipleship
-
Compassion
-
Justice
-
Stewardship

We look forward to a new year together as we form a single community of faithful practice and as we await the arrival of our new parish priest, Revd Mpole Samuel Masemola.

2025 will be a year of promise, and a year of hope—year of service and a year of growth—as we deepen our faith and extend our compassion to all.

We invite you to share this adventure of faith ad part of our Ipswich Anglican Community.
